This is the newest contender for the title of Suavest of the Suave.

According to the info on the back of this card, the driver, Jack Williams was the 1964 World Points Champion of Drag racing. He regularly turned 200 mph runs. Fucking awesome. Nothing like having the real reason for global warming right infront of you as you hurl yourself down a strip of asphalt at 200mph.

I love the smell of burning rubber and exhaust. Add straight pipes that are so loud you can feel the pulse of the exhaust in your chest….nothing better. This is only one of a pile of old Hot Rod Magazine cards I got at a swap meet. I think they’re from the mid-60’s. More to come.
